Meet Glenda Smith

Glenda D. SmithGlenda D. Smith is renowned for her reliable, supportive and benevolent spirit. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from the Lincoln University of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and became inspired to help others through her volunteerism and education. Ms. Smith received a special recognition which will be presented to her at the Women of Color STEM Conference on October 29, 2010 in Dallas, Texas. In addition, Ms. Smith received the Employee of the Year Award from CAREERS and the disABLED magazine. She enjoys ameliorating difficult situations for others, and when she is not hard at work as an advocate for the disabled, Ms. Smith also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, visiting museums and aquariums, traveling and reading.
